• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
    Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

I have a strange problem. I'm figuring if anyone can help me, you guys can...
ok

my music share folder suddenly got smaller one day.
I had maybe 30 folders in it and several files.
I opened it one day to notice there was only 20 or 30 random files and no folders.
The strange thing is the folders are STILL THERE, I just can't see them. They are not attributed hidden or system. I've checked in the dos shell and can't see them there either.

I know they're still there because if I point windows to one of the ghost folders through the address bar it pops up and I can read and execute the contents. (i remembered a few folder names and shot in the dark. I was very surprised to see they were still there)
may be some kind of NTFS hack? i don't know.

:confused:

using : Windows2KP and SoulSeek

hopefully you understand my problem.
ask me questions, please...
any input would be appriciated.
thanks.

Maybe a restoration program will bring them into the light? It's worth a try.

If it happened to me, I'd run a security check on the machine just in case. virus, trojans, worms, etc. It doesn't sound like what's going on, but I'm a little on the paranoid side.
