My new to me case will be here tomorrow, had to sell the other ones due to life happening but luck was on my side and have one on the way without paying crazy prices. Now to locate any possible parts I can get my hands on. Will post pics soon as i can once its here and put together

Just got in my Alphacool UT60 560 and 480 rads and my EKWB gpu block and backplate. Also got my 12 of16 Noctua Chromax fans in as well. Next the Auaqero 6 XT pro will be here with heatsink and real time clock add-on as well.

I miss Caselabs. Not that I ever used them but I loved watching people build absolute beast builds in these chassis. I'd love to see more when you get your parts!

I've got Thermaltake's copy of that very case. Caselabs was out of business by the time I got my Thermalfake. I've had it now for a few years and its been great having a case with that much room to work in. Although, with watercooling its heavy.

Looks like Newegg has the Thermaltake version available. The main case and the smaller piece you can use to expand it and use as a basement for the case.

It came with the case, I wont be needing it I only need to have 1 for the bottom

Well there are some that are crazy high but most have been for sale on ebay a long time, mine was 900 with a ton of extras as well tho so thats okay at that price and no holes in the mid plate

They weren't exactly cheap new either. My base case (no windows) was $520 in 2014 dollars with $120 of accessories (1 rad mount, 280 flexbay - just used for fans, casters, front panel IO). OTOH they also use much thicker metal than any other case I've owned, so their material costs are a lot higher.

Looking at other messages my email search turned up, I've discovered they changed how the bottom radiator mounts attached in a significantly revised model of the SMA8 (new version attaches from the outside), and the mounting plate your reservoirs are on is just part of a sheet of solid metal in mine (I've got a very vague rellection that this might've been a minor revision before the SM8A upgrade though.) That has me wondering if your extra rad mount would even fit my case.

The original model SMA8. After that there was (I think) a minor revision that added a smaller version of your reservoir mount, and then the SMA8-A which had a number of changes including (from email):

• Top 120.4 (480) radiator mount is now "drop-in"
• Bottom radiator mount installs from the outside (much easier to install). The mount is a 140.4 (560) mount by default and includes 120.4 (480) adapter rails
• New extra tall double wide removable reservoir mount
• Two Tone options. Exterior colors: Black, Gunmetal and White (when available). Interior colors: Black, Gunmetal, White, Red and Blue

Yours appears to be the A model.

The unanswered question I have is if they only changed how the screws from the case to the mount are installed, or also changed the radiator mount such that it's incompatible with the original design. I'll need to unplug everything so I can pull my case out and take a closer look at how its res mount is attached. (I put it together ~6 years ago and have left the bottom chamber alone ever since.)
