I know, probably beaten to death, but I get home soon and I'm itching to upgrade. My goal is to play all my games at 60 fps avg with in-game settings maxed with the standard 4xAA
or FSAA or whatever.(MSAA and all the other stuff I can do without). I use a single monitor at 1920x1080. Money isn't a issue, as if I sell my 6970, and buy a 7970 and a new power supply, it comes out to about the same as if I just bought another 6970 with a power supply ( hell, might get lucky and snag a 6970 for 250-275 ish). Only concern I have is with microstutter. Some people say its bad, some people say it's not even noticeable.. so I just want a verdict. I've never done Xfire but I always thought it would be cool to do it. It seems that the 6990 out performs the 7970 but XFire 6970's are faster than 6990s? Is that true?
You help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
