I have a Pentium D 805 and i was wondering if the Intel Pentium D 930 Presler 3.0GHz 2 x 2MB L2 Cache LGA 775 Dual Core Processor worth the upgrade with 2GB of extra ram from crucial.

The 930 is a much better performer, it was also built on the presler core which is better then the 805 smithfield.

Although you may want to just save your money for a core2duo

my 805 is stock i dont know how to mess with that overclocking stuff. so the 930 isnt core duo?

nope. 930 is presler core, 800mhz fsb and 2x 1mb l2 cache

what ram do u have? if it's at least ddr2 533 u can just upgrade your motherboard to something with a 965 northbridge and buy the cheapest core2duo, which is e6300

it will run circles around even the presler 930

i want to to newegg.com and the user reviews were good am just wondering if works fine with my Dimension E510,and do i need switch any other components.

You may have to switch out your ram, motherboard and your processor.
You're looking at a price tag of about $400-500. just as a rough figure.
