I am trying to configuring a Netgear switch I have for 802.1X port authentication with Server 2008 NAP. My RADIUS server IP address is 10.0.0.153 and the address to the Netgear switch is 10.0.0.239. So in my Netgear switch I set the IP address under Security | Management Security | RADIUS to 10.0.0.153 and set the IP Address on the RADIUS Client under Server 2008 to 10.0.0.239. Event Viewer on the 2008 machine is showing this error message "A RADIUS message was received from the invalid RADIUS client IP address 10.0.0.239."
Any ideas what this means? I try making a Network Policy rule in NPS with a condition of "Client IPv4 Address" to 10.0.0.239 with no success.
