I bought a Chenbro RM-4140 case and rails. Got them from the same place at the same time, so I'd think the rails are proper for the case. Got them all mounted up and in the cabinet, then when I went to rack stuff above it found a problem.. the case sits slightly out of the proper U space! It's about 0.25" too high into the U slot above:
?? I've no idea how to fix it. I can't just drop the server mounts down 1 hole on the rack, as that would put it too far down and it'd be invading the lower U slot then. I guess it's a rail problem.. dunno. My current solution is to get a 1U filler and jigsaw 0.25" off of the bottom then put that in the U above the server so everything is back on track. I sorta hate to ghetto it like that though. Think new rails may also fix the issue? I'd assume it'd have to be the rails.. I hope.
