I have a pretty decent logitech dual speaker/sub combo on my comp. The problem is that the sound cuts out every couple of seconds...games, music, anything. It will be playing...then boom silence for about 2 seconds and then the sound kicks back in. They did this for like a day or two last year and never did it again till today. Anyone know whats wrong? Can i fix it or are my speakers shot?

I dont know what the means...but im using everything to hook up the speakers that came with the speakers.
Also, Ive noticed that sometimes this happens when a lot of bass kicks in or the song/audio gets really loud. Kind of like a blow out....however it still happens at quiet parts as well.

Well, here's my two cents. A few years back, I had the exact same problem with my car's stereo. It turns out that one of the speaker wires had rubbed against exposed metal and stripped off its insulation, so then that wire was grounding itself to the car body every time I turned the radio up loud. Simple fix was to rewire all the speakers. You might want to check the speaker wires to make sure they are all still in good condition, i.e. insultation is still there, wire ends aren't touching anything but the speaker connectors.
