My Dothan is running at 60C. The cooler on it is basically a hybrid of a 1U and a radiator (the way the fins look remind of me a radiator anyway.) The cpu idles at like 54C-56C as well. It's a 740, 1.73GHz. Any idea why this thing is running hotter than a higher clocked, higher volted X2?
The CPU hit about 80C or so and shutdown while I was trying to watch a movie. I can't say I'm too impressed yet with this Dothan craze, though I suspect the cooling might be to blame.
It's cute how it cuts through the Small FFT Prime95 so fast though, haha. Gotta love the 2MB L2 cache.
