Annoying Dialog box issue!!

My problem is that every 15mins a dialog box instantly appears minimized at the bottom in the toolbar, then just as quickly closes itself out. This has made playing games annoying because the dialog box collapses everything to desktop, and sometimes freezes programs. The box blinks up and closes out so quickly that I can not click on the toolbar to identify it. Any thoughts??
I have never had this happen before. I just rebuilt my system with
AMD Athlon 64 3700
MB ASUS A8N-SLI Premium NF4SLI 939
Nvidia Geforce 6800xt 256 pci-e
2gigs of ram
reformated HDD with fresh install of XP home sp2
