I was all in for the Corsair 550D, but then I saw this. Now, I will wait anxiously for this computer case to come to the States. I think my 600t can last me long enough. Anyone else heard/seen this before?

Yep, I've come across this beauty before. My only concern is that it is quite rugged and heavy, and tall, at 20". It's quite the heifer for a "mid-tower".

Yeah I saw the article. Interesting concept, but I do not like that at all. It looks like an overgrown toaster. The outside is going to be a mess pretty quickly since they didn't seal the matte finish with anything and the aesthetic is too busy to really be minimal so why is the front so stark? If you're going to go the high end audio look, don't make the corners so tech-nerdy with a detached bevel like that.

Yeah.. I don't see what you mean InternationalHat. I mean.. the sides are brushed aluminum.. kinda like the P280. The front face is also a brushed aluminum. I mean.. I think its VERY minimalistic.. hell, its a flat surface on the front, flat on the sides.

How can you say that the straight lines on this thing aren't minimalistic? The only curves I see are at the very front top of the case itself. The front is simple, to the point.. no need to be anything else.

As for the size.. well.. its BARELY, slightly bigger than a Corsair 550D, but yes much heavier cause the construction is much higher quality.

YET is the key word.. I hope.

I was able to get in contact with them through facebook and they said that they are trying to get in a contract through Amazon, but its proving a bit difficult. Man, I would buy this in a sec.

It is not really minimalist. Minimalism in furniture design refers to a pretty specific aesthetic movement with either simple geometry/less angular features or simple sine-like curvature. If you're misusing the term to just mean that it has less crap on it then yeah you could say it's minimal, but it wouldn't really fit in with actual minimalist design. The bevel on this just doesn't work. The 45 degree angles on a piece this small, especially with the gap between the main body piece and that 45 degree bevel. Those elements plus the rounded front top that's not repeated anywhere muddle the design a bit.

It's not bad for a computer case. 100-120 euros especially isn't bad. For the price is it less ugly than most other cases. The psile nexus is probably the closest thing there is to a minimalist computer case.

Ah, understood. Wasn't aware that you were refering to the Minimalism movement in design when you first described the case as not minimal.
