Angled SATA Cables

I'm having trouble finding angled SATA cables that are reliable and either have no metal latches, or only have latches on 1 end.

I need 7 cables for my Lian-Li PC-V2100B. It's a good case but when the drives are in the lower portion, normal straight cables rub against the soundproofing on the door. It still closes, but is somewhat annoying.

Also, any tips for cable management in this case for all the drives would be appreciated!

I know this isn't the most interesting topic, but I figured someone must have run through a bunch of SATA cables for their storage system before finding some quality ones! :)

Thanks c1001, satacables.com had EXACTLY what I needed! I ordered 8 Right Angle to Left Angle cables right away.

Here are some pretty rats-nest photos for you. The new SATA cables will connect to the drives an immediately angle upwards, so at least nothing will be sticking out anymore. But still, any advice to a cable management noob? :)

How much pr0n do you really need??

Wait, I have 2 tbs in external drives... Umm, never mind =)

Try and get the SATA cables stacked together and wiretie em... that'll be a start.

These pics may help you with routing:
Basically, try bundling neatly, and use zip ties to keep the cable bundles together. You have a lot more cables to manage than in my PC-V1000, but the same principle applies. I wouldn't sleeve your cables as it just adds to the bulk:

Get long cables that you can route behind and around in order to keep things tidy:

Here are the right angled SATA cables in action:

@c1001:

Thanks for the photos. That looks like a very clean system!

I was waiting until my SataCables.com order arrived to get started but it turns out their labeling is all messed-up. Instead of sending me Left-to-Right angled cables, they sent Right-to-Right which won't work with my RAID controller at all (even though eache cable has a Left-to-Right sticker on it).

:(

I then did some examining and realized the best SATA cables for this project may be Left-to-Left... which don't seem to exist! I started a new thread about it ( http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1177338 ).... really weird.

Thanks again.
