Android

I don't recommend jumping on any kind of phone. They're just not far enough advanced in technology to withstand that kind of abuse. Unless you're real really small I recommend just using it normally.

....a serious response here....
Don't get that phone, it has a way to butchered version of android. All android phones (newer ones at least) have an excellent Navigation System already available(I assume you want a navi considering you want the garmin phone). I have a Nexus One and it's an excellent phone and if you have you're heart set on T-Mobile, I believe they still carry them. If not you can go with Verizon and get the original Droid for free (you have to search online for deals on that) .

Also, this phone is pretty great, not the best, but great.

If you don't mind spending $200 then the world is pretty much open to you.
Any of these will be fine

Evo4G
Droid X
Incredible
Galaxy S (Vibrant, Epic4G, Captivate, Fascinate)
Nexus One
Droid 2

You can't really go wrong with any of the above phones. I love my EVO and Froyo is like Heaven Mobile. Whatever carrier you decide on, get one with a 4+" screen. You'll wonder how you ever got anything done on anything smaller.
