I keep running into an odd problem when I try to flash a ROM or kernel to my OP5. When I get into Recovery/TWRP, instead of seeing a list of folders and ROMs/kernels in my /sdcard, I see this:

Any idea what's going on or how to fix it?

I think it's because your files are encrypted due to forceencryption and dm-verity in the kernel.

You can try formatting the data to see if it removes the encrypted data or find a zip to disable the forced encryption and then wipe and start over.

I had to wipe and restore to stock to get my phone working properly. It's still unlocked, so I can try another custom ROM when I have more time. Thanks!

Are you on the latest TWRP and are you on Oreo? It generally takes a while for TWRP to figure the encryption scheme and ask you for your password/pattern when starting up.

I'm still on Nougat. My TWRP version is 3.1.1. I'll check for a newer version.
