Google has announced that the next major version of Android will be demonstrated on August 21, the same day of the total solar eclipse. Based on the filename for a video the company recently posted via Google+, the next release of Android will be given the name “Oreo.”
On August 21st, a solar eclipse will sweep across the entire United States for the first time since 1918.
