Except for the fact that anyone building an HTPC that knows a thing about hardware would never touch an Intel IGP for it. It just doesn't compare to AMD or NV's IGPs. Hell, Intel's IGPs still don't properly do MPEG2 acceleration (if the G33 has it at all).None of them have DVI which most HTPC users want.
yes!Yeah right now there's more info about the DS2R and the P5k-VM here than anywhere else that I know of. AT's review is extremely late with the info. They have gotten an ear full of outcry about it too. I suspect AT's reputation took a big hit because of it.

So no, even if it had DVI (or HDMI) anyone building an HTPC wouldn't care. As far as their concerned it's still AMD or NV if an IGP must be used.
Either way I'm very disappointed with AT's review. They heap praise on the P5K-VM yet they don't mention it's short comings (like the mem divider).
