Pretty good review. They used a 9700 Pro, and 9800 Pro. Would have been nice to use a 5900 series card to do with them. Lots of mid to lower range cards as well. Image quality from the two seems to be about even with AA/AF, although they didnt do many comparisons.
The only time there is a real "clear" winner to me is at 1600x1200x4xAA. The XT leads by about 20% over the Ultra. Sadly, they dont use that res/setting with the Pro vs. GT.
They, too, used their own custom demos, which I think is a good idea. They even bolded this part, "ATI is distributing some of their own demos but we elected not to use them in order to remain as fair as possible. Oddly enough though, they had no problems using the custom made demos by NV in Farcry.
Overall looks to be a good review.
