Well, got my AN7 and AXP-Moble Barton 2400+ in.

Abit AN7
AMD Bartom XP-M 2400+
Thermalright SP-97
92mm 110cfm fan
Kreton Blitz Extreme Speed PC3500 2,3,3,7 (512MBx2) Dual Channel

Right now, I am running at 210x11.5 (2415mhz) at 1.8v core and 40c idle, 46c load air cooled.

At 2300 and 1.65v, it runs around 35idle and 40 load.

I may drop back down to that level as I'm kinda edgy about running it at 1.8v but, that's what it needs at 2400mhz to run Prime95.

I am used to the loud fan. It stays closed in the case and under my desk so it isn't too bad. Like Isaid above though, I may drop it to 2300mhz and 1.65v so I can now finally run that fan a little lower and cut down on the noise some.

I have nothing but praise for that SP-97 Heatsink. The only problem was the lame installation instructions but it was no problem figuring it out.

Kinda scary to me though as I was not sure how tight to put those standoffs so they are as tight as they will go but, the MB under the CPU has a slight bow to it now. They said to tighten down the spring loaded screws until the standoffs moved but, since they won't move, I ended up with the spring loaded screws all the way down. I'm scared I got too much pressure on that CPU core. Other than that, this baby keeps that CPU nice and cool.

That's about peek for right now. Will play with it some more and see what I can tweak out of it and still feel comfortable.

nice overclock and excellent combo...any benchies for it?
1.65 at 2300 is pretty impressive...i'd stick with that for the sake of being able to go near silent if need be...

Only bench I ran for now was Aquamark and that was 49100. That's with a Gainward 5900 Goldensample (non-ultra OC'd to 475core, 975 memory).

Just ran the free version of 3dmark03 using preset defaults (can't change).

Game test: 6082
GT1: 197.7
GT2: 44.6
GT3: 35.3
GT4: 34.4

CPU Test: 75.3
CPU1: 81.2
CPU2: 13.8

Features Test:
Fill (ST): 1579.3
Fill (MT): 3341.4
Vertex: 19.8
Pixel 2.0: 50.4
Ragtroll: 21.5

Sound Test (Note: Built in Soundstorm sound used)
No Sounds: 46.7
24 sounds: 42.3
60 sounds: 39.1

Now, not too sure on how these measure up to others. I really never do much comparing. I just use 3DMark to test changes i make to my system to see how they effect things. So, I don't know if these are below avg, avg or above avg.

Oh, this is with all the settings still the same as in my original post.

The only thing I don't think is right is my system temps. This AN7 (Bios 14) using the Abit windows monitor program says I am running 32c system. That's kinda reading high considering I have the side panel open and air from air conditioner is blowing towards the open case.

My NF7-S in same location always read about 24c. Room temp is 73. Heck, even the air coming out of 450watt PS is cool. Sys temp is 32c and CPU is 35c. Kinda of strange sys temp is almost as high as the CPU. Definately think it's reading wrong.

Just realized now reading 34c CPU idle at 1.8v 2400mhz. 41c running Prime95 and cools back to idle temps in about 15sec. Not bad for air cooled :)
