So I'd like to get some LCD's for both of my machines. Going to hook them up with a dual monitor arm (my dad happens to sell this kind of stuff, lucky me), have the second screen switchable between the two computers. I have yet to make the plunge because I'm still a little unsure about a few things and am looking for some opinions.
Keep in mind I use my main computer purely for gaming, and a little web/graphic design. I use my second computer purely for business/chatbox. so:
1) Widescreen or 4:3? For gaming, which really works out best. I play most kinds of games, but a lot of FPS's.
2) Size? 19" seems very affordable (and my fiance is already having a tantrum about even buying one). The Dell 1905fp seems good, but would I be happy with the Dell monitors coming from purely CRT's?
3) Is the added cost for going for something from like say a 1905fp to a 193+ really worth it?
