• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

An interesting observation

Ubuntu tries to be too controlling. What the hell is up with them forcing sudo down our throats. I like being able to su root. It's easier. Sure it may not be as secure, but hell, I'll take the risk.

lol you do know you can su right............???

I my self have become accustomed to sudo......once you get used to it its like second nature.

Hrm. I thought you had to sudo su, oh well I haven't touched it in a while. One of the main goals of ubuntu is for broad ease of use and for that reason its as popular as it is. In my opinion ubuntu generally will not be the hardcore linux users choice. Most of the hardcore people who are very good with linux like something more like gentoo running fluxbox.
