They had a Law Enforcement Appreciation festival thing uptown today and I walked over on my lunch break to see what was there.
The CMPD Field Forensics team their equipment on display and what camera do you suppose they use?
To be fair, they did offer to trade their inferior camera for my superior camera.
I kept wandering around and notice the impromptu reflector on this truck. The raised side panel was highlighting the ATF... I thought it was a cool, real-world example of field expedient photography lighting.
I kept wandering and found the SWAT team with their wares spread on a table. The Sniper was answering questions, but I just couldn't take him seriously. I mean, come on! If you can't even hit the hole in the end of your nose when you want to pick it, what are you chances of hitting a target at 400yards??
Last and not least, this is Splashy, the Children's Water Safety Mascot. His is radio controlled by the puppet-master in the rear. Since all the kids are still in school, he was using Splashy to hit on chicks.
All in all, a very amusing lunch break.
