Amplifier for headphones

Im considering purchasing some HD650s in the future, and after many reviews i have read have cam to the conclusion that i will need an amp. Here is where you guys come in, can u point me to any place that i could purchase an amp ? It cant be too expensive plz, and moust be able to deliver to England.

About $265 max budget, this is so low because the HDs will set me back $440 ...

Head to http://www4.head-fi.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=55 , look for a used Gilmore Lite. They sell for $300 but I got mine used for $255 shipped to my door without a mark on it.

A lot of people will argue about amps on headfi and list positives and negatives, but almost noone has something negative to say about the Gilmore Lite , recommended for the HD650s by plenty of people.

I'd say around $25-30 for shipping with full insurance coming from the US. Make sure the seller marks it as a gift in case customs gets ahold of it

No, and they don't generally have recessed midrange either.

Yeah, if you do have recommendations fo a UK amp builder that would possibly help would save a long wait for shipping and a lot less hassle with customs.

Oh yea, I'm enjoying a recently received Mister X built M3 right now.
Maybe check into a pimeta or even a used amp.

*Mister X , that M3/8065 combo really helps the 580 come out, gives it a depth and liveliness that I didn't think it had in it.
