amp for bookshelfs

Hey I am looking for an amp for either the paradigm titans or the dayton BR-1's bookshelfs, no sub running through my comp. How does the sonic T-amp fare with these? where can I find a cheap (less than about 60 dollars) new or used amp to run these if sonic no good (i hear it cuts bass...???), I want it to be small too not a full on reciever. thanks
