Just got my upgraded computer up and running, and now I'd like to know what my best options are for cooling in order to OC better. I have a 3200+ Clawhammer, along with 2 512 MB sticks of Geil PC3200ram, and an ATI 9800 Pro AIW. So, basically, I was wondering if anyone had a good idea of products to get to cool me down, including some new case fans, as I'm still using the ones that came with my case. As it stands, all I have done is get some rounded cables to improve airflow.

be some help would ya? Geil ram is actually pretty good for oc'ing if you get the right model.

but to answer your question... there are probably only two hsf's i'd suggest
for good performance + quiet, get the zalman cnps-7000-cu (i have this actually.. works quite well)
if you wanna do some heavy overclocking, thermalright xp-90 with a high cfm 92mm fan

just one thing to note.. better cooling doesn't really provide better overclocking with a64's cause for the most part, they run pretty cool.. unless you do something serious like watercooling or phase change

These are big, ugly and not a ton of fun to install. They do however cool like nothing I have ever used. All my machines run 24/7 at 100% CPU load so I need good cooling all the time, not just sometimes. I bought one locally with the understanding I could return it. I now have 2 more.

For my upcoming 939 project I’ll move to this one

These are both dead quiet and cool like mad. The only thing that would work better is water-cooling and I just don’t want to go there with 18 machines. All the machines are over clocked to the bleeding edge too.

Try one, you might like it.

Luck

I'm looking at the XP-120 for my 3200 Winchester if you are going to do it go BIG
