I'm Upgrading my computer but cant figure out what kind of heatsink will work the best for a 5000+ BE CPU. I'm currently going from a 939 to AM2 platform. this is the part I'm getting for my upgrade. AMD 5000+ x2 BE, BIOSTAR TFORCE TF520-A2, CORSAIR 4GB(2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800, SAMSUNG 20X DVD±R DVD Burner Black SATA. All for 260 after MIR. I'm currently going to use my old MB, CPU, HS, Ram, along with other parts i have laying around to build a rig for my friend for $300 so i have about $40 to spend on a heatsink. I have looked online but now in days their are so many heatsink. I'm looking at something that will keep it really cool. I'm most likely not going to overclock this rig.

Im using a scythe infinity on my 5000+ BE in my HTPC. Im not using the scythe fan, I dont even know if its loud or not.

Running my BE 200x14 stock voltages passive. Dont know the temps but its never lagged on HD playback or COD4.

editing because it doesnt need a new post, since were not in the OCing forum or anything :)-)):

Its pretty hard NOT to OC the BE. I was just a FEW FPS shy on COD4 on this rig hooked to my 61inch 1080p tv. I knew only a few because I could play medium/high settings, 2xAF /0AA smoothly all except for martyrdom grenades, it would shudder.

Reboot>>Bios>>multi from 12x-14x
Rivatuner: asus 8600gt silent 15over core 20 over ram

Smooth sailing.

The last one listed is the 92mm fan version. The one above it from frozencpu is the 120mm fan version.

They do sell the Kingwin RVT-12025 (120mm fan version) at directron.com, mwave.com, and newegg.com for $30-$35. Xigmatek is the OEM for the Kingwin. Yes, it's exactly the same.
