I recently purchased a laptop using the newest Socket S1 AMD Sempron 3200+.
I'm wondering if I would be able to upgrade to a better and more powerful mobile AMD CPU for this laptop when they become more readily available. I can't find much information on these CPU, like benchmarks and comparison tests. They seem to have been released without much fanfare.
Here's a little about them.

If the sockets are the same, then I should technically be able to install a better CPU without having to flash the BIOS on my board right? This is my first laptop and I am well versed in all aspects of nomrla PCs, but I'm a n00b when it comes to tweaking and optimizing laptops.
Perhaps someone here can chime in and shed some light on these new mobile AMDs.
