i have a Soyo KT400 Ultra Platinum, AMD Sempron 2400+, 256DDR166, Volcano 11, 450watt PSU

i seen a person OC the same proc to 2.0ghz.. i was like WTF MATE!? so i was wondering how... and he had the same specs..

KT400 = VIA chipset... I personally would avoid that mainboard. Go with NForce2, it might be a MAJOR PITA somtimes, but at least it will lock your AGP/PCI/ISA bus. :p

Ditch your 256 megs of DDR, ditch the Volcano 11, get 512 megs (or more) of PC3200 (DDR 400) and an SLK 800U, along with a mainboard that has 4 mounting holes.

You can oc on your current board, ram, and HSF, but honestly... Better equipment = better OC.
