Well obviously AMD has been falsifying their financial statements, which means of course that they are DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED!!!!!!!

Yes because every audit/inquiry is a sign of wrong doing.....

To the OP clarification in this sense is essentially to make sure everything is on the up and up. They aren't saying in the documentation that there have been errors... But I'm sure were going to have people over react to this.

Actually those SEC "clarifications" are not anything abnormal. If AMD replies with obfuscations rather than clarity, then there is the potential for it to get ugly.

tbh, the finanancial relationship between AMD and GF has always been a bit "sticky", which wasn't a problem until GF was spun off completely. Now the SEC doesn't seem to be able to make sense of the financial disclosures. Oops.

(The article states AMD believes the review is complete since it received no more questions, but it may not be.)

I hadn't read that. Thanks. Yeah, it does seem like Ruiz's bastard stepchild could create some problems with AMD. I agree, it could be a case of OOPS! :)
