I realllllly want a threadripper -- Lowest core count, highest clocked, really just for the pci-e lanes/slots/motherboard features. Even something like 1800x but in the new socket....

I am really excited about what AMD is bringing to the tablet. I have a 6850k rocking at 4.4ghz and got it for 199 through retail edge lol. I really don't think I need an upgrade for a few more years I am anxious to see how AMD improves on ryzen down the road. Really exciting times, if I was building a sytem now it sure as well will be Ryzen 7 1700. Thinking about upgrade my second rig this year.

ofcourse AMD Is denying it. They announced threadripper and are still hush hush about any specs or what-so-ever. They are keeping it tight to the chest for the time being. My guess is Threadripper will hard launch with Vega so preach to HEDT builders as premier gaming system launch. Ryzen prices are slashed its no brainer, AMD is denying it because they do not want to give any hints what so ever to intel. Any time you have a PR guy talking they are never going to admit it, why? Because Threadripper doesn't exist yet, so there can't possibly be any price cuts because of threadripper, you know what I mean? Its all politics. 1700x is down 50 bucks almost all the time. Retailers have no intention of slashing prices if AMD is not giving some kind of kickback.
