Here's hoping they repeat this deal on next year's Black Friday but with the 3700x. Lets start a tradition, AMD!

If I'm on x370 motherboard, does the 2700x worth upgrading to from 1800x. Or will I only see a performance increase if I get a x470 board.

Should see as much of a performance increase on there as you would on a X470 Mobo. It's a decent jump in gaming (esp. the 1% lows) too if that's your primary use for it. I got my 2700X earlier this year with the intent of upgrading to the 3700X when it launched, but it's been doing great for me with my 2080, I think I'll wait until we see these prices on Zen 2 before I upgrade again.
