AMD RX 5700 XT GPUs reaching 110°C “expected and within spec” for gaming

you're missing a clamp off the resevoir on the right side.

Thanks but I actually don't need it...I used them out of an abundance of caution but one broke so I just left it off. The 90 degree fittings are larger then the ID of the tubing so that the tubing has to be heated and "stretched" into place of the fitting. This type of mount ensures the tubing is nice and tight, but it's a PiTA to get on properly.

Ignoring and dismissing are two different things ;).

Just kidding, I just missed it.

I was looking earlier and it seems traditionally AMD has much higher failure rates, but I can’t find anything to refrute your claims. I am an EE and I am very skeptical of 95C just from a physics / what I know of components. Regardless, AMD has mauled enough other things I still am surprised people take their claims blindly. That applies to any corporation to be honest.

haha, the irony, I missed your reply lol.

Heat wasn't the problem with the cards. Reference cards were the only ones to reach those kinds of temps and, as usual with AMD, they stopped been produced as soon as the AIB cards appeared. Custom cards never reached 95 degrees.
