AMD Radeon R3 SSD Series Of SSDs Announced – Great Pricing Featured

Interesting. If nothing else, I'd say between this and Polaris 11, AMD is looking to take over much of the mobile market.

I want $100 1tb SSDs.

Not quite there yet, but they are dipping below $200.

I know. I think there is a good chance they'll be under $150 by the end of the year, maybe dipping to $100 as specials during Black Friday and the holidays.

And at a higher price at that! $150 for 480GB, that's mlc-price levels!

Yea, at the $137, I don't see a reason to get that when 850 Evo cost a little more or cheaper when it is on sale.

I've had EVO 850 250GB for 100 bucks. I wonder how many years would it take more to get that level of price.

I wonder how fast it would be with a RAID, might be worth it as secondary drives (not that you should RAID SSDs).

SSDs will eventually surpass HDDs in $ per gigabyte, within the decade I think.
