AMD recruited F@H GPGPU client developer?

I don't know if this is a repost, but AMD has apparently recruited F@H GPGPU client developer Mike Houston for architecture design. Since this forum is a little slow of late, I thought I'd mention it for interest.

Bad news in a sense indeed : Forget about any nvidia GPU client development in the future

Guys, I was just doing the optimization and Brook support, the FAH guys are doing the actual code. It's up to them and Nvidia as to when you will see Nvidia support. ;-)

After a little thought, I was going to say it's probably not a bad thing at all. I mean no offense by that remark.

Even if you were big into the coding and basically the head guy for everything, your leaving could actually help give an inroad to nVidia on the GPGPU front for folding.

I sort of understand the reasons behind no nVidia client due to differences in architecture (I don't get into the technical stuff) so I haven't complained about there not being an nVidia client.

Okay, I think I've gone off topic enough. Good luck with your new job and we hope to hear good things about the new work you're going to be doing.
