So when the 295x2 came out, it was also $1500 MSRP. According to an article on WCCFtech states that the new Radeon Pro (395x2) will also release on April 26th. According to another rumor, the upcoming 14nm cards (490x) should come out around a June/July date. Do you folks think that we will see a price drop at some point like we had with the 295x2 when they dropped as low as $629 on both new Newegg and Amazon before they sold out of stock and the FuryX sales started.

Seeing as how we do not have any in the retail chain yet from what I can see I doubt it personally. Probably will be an extremely limited release card given how close to next gen is to coming out.
 
The Radeon Pro is the Fury X2, not 395X2

As for price, I doubt it unless the next generation of cards comes out fairly quickly.
