Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
amd did release the 990FX series a good four or five months earlier than bulldozer, so hopefully we'll see the 1090FX series shortly though it is believed they will remain PCIe 2.0.
Hope for PCIe 3.0 rests on socket FM2 with trinity if we are to get anything this year, after that we are looking at the new socket for mainstream when bulldozer v3 arrives.
FM2 may get it as a sales gimmick but we probably won't see them for a while on the consumer end for am3+. theres just no real world need for it at this point. more then likely we will see pci-e 3.0 added to their opteron boards long before you see it on consumer boards. in the end its win win for us anyways, just means one less thing we end up having to pay extra money for. let the intel people pay the premium for pci-e 3.0 for no reason.
