Can anyone point me to upcoming release timelines for team green and red?

I don't think there is anything official yet. I'd say December or January for Nvidia Kepler 28nm and november December for AMD Southern Island series.

If rumors are true about the southern islands being a die shrunk Northern island parts then they may come out a few months sooner than December. If they are adding shaders or making them more interesting they may hit in December or January

This all depends when TSMC will have 28nm ready and with decent enough yields. Expect high end cards first with mid to low end no sooner than March-April 2012.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping for a refresh a little earlier than November/Decemberish cause I'll be upgrading my system for Battlefield 3 which is supposedly coming out early November. I'd probably be in the market more for the midrange cards anyway though and that probably just means I'll be looking for price cuts on current gen GPUs given that timeframe.
