Was just wondering if anyone else here was running the AMD Stock X2 Heatpipe cooler. I have one on my stock clocked 3700 and the max speed I can get out of it is 2800 rpm. I am not having heat problems in any way, shape or form just curious as the listed speed for the delta fan on this thing is 5000+ rpm. I can slow it down with smart guardian but it won't speed up past 2800. I am going to order a thermaltake 80 mm fan with the thermal sensor on it here shortly and stick it on this heatsink. I haven't tried OC this DFI Expert or the 3700 yet but I would like to have a much faster higher cfm fan on there when I do attempt it as the temps are sure to climb as I add voltage and speeds. Thanks and have a good day
The one review I read of this cooler the guy shorted out the temp sensor and bypassed it allowing full speed control by smart guardian. I am not really sure how one would do that. Any suggestions guys?
