Last intel was my 386 so I'm a little out of the loop when it comes down to things like mainboard options. I'm looking for a 478 board with PCIe support. Does such a beast exist? I've looked and found nothing so far, and if it was an amd platform I would know already but I can't be sure in this case. Thanks for any help.

The asus 478 and PCIe board is only available in europe (and I think China)

Very hard to get in the states.

edit: actually, I havent seen the one Jet linked to. I've only seen the P4GD1.

I noticed that the ASUS board has an ATI Radeon chipset. Do very many moboards have these chipsets yet? Just curious.

Thanks for the info. It's not for me, it's for a friend in austrailia. He's got a 3gig socket 478 p4 and is in the process of looking for a new video card. Since you can't get top of the line on agp anymore I told him to go with pcie, but it looks like he'll have to replace the proc as well to do that. Thanks.
