So, my first foray into dual graphics has been an unmitigated nightmare. 10 hours of uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, having to repair the windows installation because the catalyst removal tool is crap and made the system BSOD (!), the machine forgetting what a 6670 is, and still no dual graphics. Honestly I can't figure out what's wrong with this thing, and since this is a customers machine I'm hoping to find a resolution soon.
Two guides in particular that I've attempted to follow are the Biostar manual's guide, and the following: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/amd-a8-3850-llano,2975-2.html
Specs are as follows:
AMD 3870k
XFX 6670 1GB
BioStar TA75M+
Patriot G Series Sector 5 Edition 8GB
Corsair CX 430
Biostar TA75M+
Oh and unlike other motherboard there seems to be no "enable dual graphics" button in the BIOS. Thanks in advance!
