To the vast majority of people, AMD and NVidias top cards perform identical, so why is it that Nvidia can charge more?
NVIDIA offers a better product.

Hint: Marketing and fanbois.
I would say the company who is offering a cheaper card that is as fast as card that cost $150-200 more is the better product.
AMDs cards are cheaper because they offer fewer features. They run hot, loud and suck a lot of power. Not to mention a spotty driver history. Throw in stuttering and other issues and it's plain logic why their cards sell for less.
No conspiracy theory needed.
If AMD could sell their cards for more, they would.

So features that 90% of the market wont use.
-They run 12c hotter then Nvidias offering, wow, so hot.
-It has been pointed out by numerous people who own the cards that they are not loud unless you manually adjust the fans higher then stock, but keep spreading bull shit
- They use up to 37 more watts then a 780ti, wow, that really is a "lot"
- Want me to point out Nvidias spotty driver history and issues?
You are exactly why Nvidia sells for more, you don't give a shit about performance, you give a shit about the brand and are more then willing to pay quite a bit more for bull shit reasons.
Fuck, I feel like an idiot falling for your bull shit trolling nonsense yet again.
Well.....I think this topic is done. LOL.
Which is the whole point of the exercise. Damage control in full force derailing any threads that might show nVidia in a negative light.
In the end it doesn't matter. We'll get the equivalent of GSync for free and you'll see the GSync tax disappear. Just like you saw the GK110 tax disappear when Hawaii came out. It doesn't matter though. It'll just be rinse and repeat with the next overpriced feature/product nVidia comes out with.
A paid AMD nut. Price to performance for AMD doesn't count anymore. Show me an in stock R9 290 that's selling for even 450$.
Don't cheap shoot u idiot!

Just because retailers are taking advantage of the current situation doesn't change the MSRP of the cards. While the prices suck right now for gamers, going off the price of retailers marking up cards isn't a good way to go about things since they are going to drop to retail and as history as shown, below retail soon enough.
I was looking at one site, Hardware Canucks. They said no such thing. Generally all review sites will measure sound level around 1m away, the typical distance between a home PC and desk chair. The sound level is near the level of normal speech, if that lets you imagine how loud it would be for different distances. The only problem I have with this post is that when it comes to sound, how close the mic is and what kind of test setup is being run greatly influence the results. That and look at how many "reputable" sites were running the card in quiet mode and then saying AMD cherry picked review samples.
This is my point. He has different opinions than you, and you call him a troll and shill.I don't know if you haven't noticed, but Prime1 is a troll and shill, go ahead and look through his posting history and continue defending him if you want.
