amd custom resolution?

Hello,

I have a 7970GE driving a 4k tv over hdmi. Anyone know how to force custom resolutions through an amd card? I know the tv also does 2560x1440 at 75hz or so (which I would like to try for gaming) but am unable to find anywhere to set that in the amd catalyst control center. On my nvidia card I would just go in and create a custom resolution, anyone know of a way to do that with ati cards?

It can only be done via HDMI 1.4a cable but it will only display at 24hz. The other option is if your TV has a Display Port v1.2 then you could run it at 60hz. These are all at native resolutions

Edit: FYI 4K tvs at the moment are basically 1080p 3D tvs, its still in its infancy
 
Yeah the 4k 30hz works over hdmi 1.4 and looks great for movies, but how do I set 2560x1440 at 60 or 70hz? I know the newer nvidia cards work with this tv at those resolutions and refresh rates, is there a way to set custom resolutions, refresh rates, and timings with amd cards?
 
That's exactly what I was looking for, thanks. Tv works at 4k 31hz too.
