AMD: CUDA Is Doomed

I bet all of those games were subsidized by Nvidia to include it...and its not very many at all compared to total games released.

No , these are only the games that support GPU PhysX , there are a lot more that supports CPU physX ..

Not sure I understand where all this "PysX needs to be more open!" stuff comes from, honestly.

https://developer.nvidia.com/physx-downloads

Full source code is right there, and the non-commercial licensing is basically "do whatever the heck you want"

I remember when Cyan Worlds was working to open-source the Plasma game engine, they ended up ripping out ODE and switching to PhysX. They couldn't go open-source with ODE due to licensing issues.

That's not the full source code

That's the usability code, its for developers of games to use, they don't know how PhysX works, just if they make X calls, PhysX will support it

Havok also is usability code, except havok can run on all CPU's and all GPU's, thus its more "Open Source" than PhysX is

Equality. That's all I want. Is that so much to ask for?

I do NOT want equality. I want a competitive market where advances can be made, and product differentiation so I can choose how I want to play. I want the ability to have a rig that outclasses the average PC in every way. I do not ever want equality. I want total domination.

Competitive markets only work if they help push advances

Nvidia wants monopoly's, giant difference

You do understand that by equality I mean that all GPU's could run the same physics, right? If all GPU's support something then that means that a lot more advances would be made.

That or you're just trolling?
