AMD CES 2022

Will new Ryzen 7000 AM5 socket have Dual-Channel DDR4 memory support?
Since AM2 AMD's sockets have been named with the number corresponding to revision of DDR it uses so the five in AM5 indicates DDR5(which AMD has confirmed).

Touche, though obviously I wasn't referring to SOCs.
And AM2+, technically.
AM2+ was originally designed for DDR2 and that's what the name is based off of, the fact that some boards could take an AM3 processor and then use DDR3 doesn't change that or negate my comment(which is partially why I worded it the way I did).
