AMD Catalyst™ 15.6 Beta for Windows®
This driver release included optimizations for Batman™: Arkham Knight.
This article provides information on the latest posting of the AMD Catalyst™ Software Suite, AMD Catalyst™ 15.6 Beta.
This particular software suite updates the AMD Catalyst™ Display Driver and the AMD Catalyst™ Control Center. This unified driver has been updated, and is designed to provide enhanced performance and reliability.
Package Contents
The AMD Catalyst™ Software Suite, AMD Catalyst™ 15.6 Beta contains the following:
AMD Catalyst™ Display Driver version 14.502.1014.1004.

NOTES
This driver is not intended for use on AMD products running in Apple Boot Camp platforms. Users of these platforms should contact their manufacturer for driver support.
When installing the AMD Catalyst™ Driver for Windows® operating system, the user must be logged on as Administrator, or have Administrator rights to complete the installation of the AMD Catalyst Driver.
The AMD Catalyst 15.6 Beta Software Suite requires Windows 7 Service Pack 1 to be installed.
The AMD Catalyst 15.6 Beta Software Suite requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 to be installed. Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 is included in all Catalyst packages.
AMD Eyefinity technology is designed to give gamers access to high display resolutions. As pixel count grows, the graphics "horsepower" required to drive the displays at a reasonable frame rate can increase dramatically. Depending on the game and system configuration, users may notice texture corruption and reduced frame rates when running games in multi-monitor Eyefinity modes.

no crossfire support for arkham knight, is crossfire still a 'thing'? I can't remember any aaa titles this year that had good xfire support on launch day.

Which begs the question, are Fury X owners and 300 series owners screwed in Batman?:confused::confused:

I don't know about that question as I do not own an "X/300" series card. There is a fork currently in both AMD drivers, this should be solved in the next few months with a unified driver.

So GTA 5 is not a AAA title, enough said.

Nvidia

I'm usually pretty forward/positive thinking when it comes to drivers from both camps but the lack of crossfire for AK is pretty shitty. It's a gameworks game so that might have "something" to do with it but still AMD has probably had at least some code at some point, you'd think they'd work to xfire working considering those are generally their highest paying customers.

Curious to see how long it takes to xfire enabled in AK. It's okay for me cause I'm still getting through the Witcher but still.

I believe it took a game patch with the previous Batman game. Hopefully they didn't break it again.

I was running the 15.20 version that posted a few days ago, I installed this last night and the only change was to the accelerated video and ccc. the video and audio drivers remained the same. this seems to be the "official beta" of those 15.20 files. either way, they seems to work fine.

Still don't have it in Dying Light and Dead Rising 3. :(

Could be that they have put optimisations in the 300 series drivers that the 200 series wont get, like the launch driver did.
I cant see the need for separate drivers otherwise, they are the same hardware.

NV cant even get SLi working properly in AK yet so dont expect CF to be working.

I pity my friend who bought my 290x.
He wants to blow the 390x firmware asap.
Cat 15.6 released yesterday for the 200 series, also a Batman driver...
It's just that the 300 series and 200 series run independent drivers for now.
