Ok I have part of my computer put together already. My priority of finishing the build just got bumped due to girlfriend's computer dying and me being a nice guy and giving her my current one. I game, mostly at 1440x900 for the time being, on dual monitors. I have:

Antec p182 with enough fans to float away
HX620
2x optical drives
All my peripherals and monitors
WD640 hdd
I will be acquiring Windows 7 64 bit

So, I would like this to be an AMD build, I was planning on using the 965: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103727

I was thinking at 5770 would max my games at that resolution, as my 9600gt does for the most part already: http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name...-2DVI-HDMI-DisplayPort-PCI-Express-Video-Card

I am lost as far as which mobo to get, too many choices and options. I do not need a wifi board, and I do plan on overclocking. I'll just pick up a nice hsf that happens to be on sale this weekend when I order. Crossfire would be a plus, but not a necessity. Do not need raid or firewire.

I also need a good suggestion for Ram. I would like to use ddr3, but the application of it with the AMD boards is not as familiar to me as with the i7 boards.

I do not have a Fry's or MC anywhere near me, so that's not an option for me, just the Worst Buy is close to me.

No set price limit, I don't need anything extravagant.

Thanks guys n gals!

id go with gwarren's gpu/cpu/ram but i would also suggest taking a look at these boards as well..

if you want ddr3 id suggestion these boards:
MSI 770-C45 AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail $80 free shipping (non crossfire version)
MSI 770-G45 AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail $80 (crossfire version)

both are AM3.. theres little to no difference between the 770 and 790 except that the 790 can come with the onboard video.

if you want to stick with ddr2 take a look at the 785G motherboards..
GIGABYTE GA-MA785GM-US2H AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 785G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail $80

for the price these 3 boards cant be beat..

Wow I like both of those CSX boards. The Ripjaws look sweet as hell too. Decisions like these are tough.
