AMD 7850 gpu poping/crackling/static audio problem.

Hello
As title states i have a audio problem on my 7850 gpu. my card is 6 months old and i have been getting this problem for the last few days. I am using the hdmi audio.
I get a popping/crackling sound through my monitor speakers.
this noise in not constant but it comes and goes.
i notice i get it when i play music and games,i notice it most when i am at the far cry 3 menu screen., but i also get it while playing all games.
i do not get this crackling when i play through my usb headphones.

things i have tried to fix problem.

Different HDMI cable- have tried 3 different hdmi cables and get the same noise.
Different hdmi port- have tried hdmi port 2 on monitor and get same noise.
different monitor- tried my pc on my hdmi tv and get same noise,
different gpu drivers- lots of different AMD Drivers 12.10, 12.11, 12.6, 12.4 all end up with the same noise.
Flash MB bios to update verson.
im ready to do a full fresh windows install but i dont think this will fix the problem either.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

my pc specs are
i5 3570k
HIS 7850 gpu
Gigabyte ga z77m d3h motherboard.
850w power supply
8gb ram
windows 7 64 bit
