RAM Voltage: 2v
PROC: 1.3v (Possibly the problem??)
216 FSB x 13
Temp: 45 Under Load
HSF: Zalman 9500
HTT: 3x
RAM Timing: 5-5-5-15
MOBO: M2N-SLI Deluxe - 0908 BIOS

Can anyone give me any tips? Thanks!

I think voltage is indeed the issue. Just to hit those clocks my 5000+ needs 1.45 volts

Voltage is at 1.5, didnt change anything =/

Maybe my ram is limiting me, but I don't want to loosen the timing more than 5-5-5-15

Then drop the divider to 667, and you have a whole lot of headroom on your ram.

Edit: Why not drop your ram even lower to like the 533 divider and then just see how far you can get your CPU up, with how much voltage. Who knows, you could have already hit your wall at 2.8.

never messed with the ram divider, I'll give it a try tonight. Thanks

I'm at 2.939 now, almost hit 3ghz!

Just bought some of these to help me get a little higher..

PNY XLR8 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail

I still cannot get past 2990! I've even set the HT Link to 3x, set it to 5-5-5-12, and the voltage to 2.25! FSB doesn't seem to go higher than 235 w/o blue screening on boot.

Any advice?

Try setting your PCiE locks too (101mhz )and make shure you set your memory timming manualy .Use the recomended voltage of what your memory manufacture suggest;) . Also the M2n32 deluxe likes high FSB and is very stable up to 5xHT can go up to 3000mhz! Ive tested this with a 5600+ to 3.3ghz and My 6000+ to 3.5mhz ,both on AIR !

Make shure you disable the Wifi and other devices you do not use.

Some ways that do allow a pretty good Oc with this ASUS mobo;

Try using the 11x Cpu multi this will allow a /7memory divider using 667setting this will Oc the memory too. If you do not want to Oc mem try with 533 divider . The 5200 and 5400 and 5600 all run good with the 11x Cpu divider;) Also the M2n32 and X2's like lower memory controler dividers! Even with the 800mhz memory setting and the stock CPU multi,The memory controler craps out with overclocking and HEAT when it tries to use /8 /9 or 1:1 ratio . It can or will limit your memory even if the memory is garenteed to go past 1000Mhz. Keep your memory timmings loose or stock untill you have reached your Max OC.

For example : My Patriot DDR2 6400 ELK 2x1gig kits will Oc to 1100mhz with low memory controler settings while the CPU is not past 3.0ghz. When i raise the FSB to Oc above 3.0ghz the controler starts limiting the memory too around 900mhz with the 800mhz memory setting .

I do not know if this is due to the Asus board or not, but have found that by using the lower CPU clock settings the memory controler will overclock better.Also the Vcore must be raised and stable on CPU. Ive also found the cooler the CPU the more stable the memory controler is:eek:

These settings are on a 5600+ and are the same for 5200+ thru 6000+!

11x282= 3.1ghz with 1.5vcore-1.56vcore with good cooling
use the 667 divider if your new mem can Oc well or use the 533 and Ht was set to 5X very stable.

11x300=3.3Ghz with 1.6vcore with good cooling . i used 667 divider for 943mhz on the mem! Ht was always kept at X5 =3000mhz

Try the 665 memory divider or 533 with the CPU set to 11xmulti and slowly raise your FSB up till you cant Oc anymore with 1.5Vcore to find your max CPU .Also for my Pc to run @3.5ghz i need 1.6vcore to be stable because of heat! This all depends on how good your CPU is Cooled. Ive found if you are using the(STOCK HEATSINK )your would be LUCKY to get past 3.0ghz on any F3chip!

To reach a good Oc with AIR on an F3 i highly recomend a (ThermalRight UltraExtream Heatsink) or The Best Zalman! I currently use a modified/Lapped Big Typhoon /and Lapped my Cpu IHS ,for my 3.5ghz overclock whick keeps me @28c Idle and 51c load in summer HEAT.

Ican post @3.6mhz but heat is a factor because im only using a lapped BigTyphoon with lapped IHS. I have a UltraExtream comming to see what i can do Max with Air but will be going to waterCooling down the road!

NOTE; Cooling is priority .The last thing to worry about ,is tighting your memory up after your Max oc has been reached ,this will give you optimal speed:D
