i have a gak8nf- from gigabyte, a64 3200 and 1 gig of corsair xms. the max oc i have been able to get is 2.23 with the fsb.htt at 230. i know these cpu's are able to hot higher, so i upped the v-core a bit, and to no avail. not even a mgz faster. the whole thigns locks up and freezes when i put the fsc above 230. also the 2.23 ghz is stable for more than 48 hours on prime 95, but after like half amin or so on 3dmark 03 it locks up, and the computer resets.
can anyone help me get more out of my cpu.
thanks

p.s, i have read the amd overclocking beginers guide like 3 times.

What are your memory timing settings and what are you setting the vcore at? Give us all the details of settings, maybe someone can help.

What is your HTT multiplyer at? That has to be dropped to 4x from 5x to keep things stable at those speeds. Basic idea is HTT multiplyer x HTT < 1000 or so.
