if its not fast enough for something that your doing than go ahead and overclock it.

most people on [H] will tell you its worth it to overclock every processor in the world. :D

but if your not having troubles with a processor, why screw around with it for performance you dont need? especially at the cost of reliability.
 
If its locked you won't get much out of it, 166fsb version of the 3000 has a 13 multiplier so even if you got it to 185fsb that would be a pretty hefty overclock. Still better than stock tho.
