Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
anybody know to to set the display via DVI port? it seem it only display from HDMI, i have 6yr old benq monitor
pretty sure its not the cable since it was work with my previous gtx470
If your monitor uses a single link DVI cable, then be sure you're plugged into the correct DVI port on the card that supports single link DVI. HERE is a link with pics/diagram to help you determine which connections are dual link on the card and which ones are single link DVI.
note: Your cards connection positions may differ from the diagram I linked.
So you should physically look at the pin layout on each output on the card to determine the right one that matches your monitors cable.
Be sure and pick the port that matches your monitor cable exactly since a single link monitor cable will still plug into a dual link output on the card, but you'll get no signal.
