This is actually a good job for temporal fix from AMD until they can find a way to provide an easy method to flash BIOS with the corrections. as I said before couple of times the issue isn't possible to fix via driver, the driver have to patch the card every time the machine is powered on..

I installed them. No smoke yet but if anything catches on fire I will break out some marshmallows

Well this is good news. Now to see if I should go with the RX 480 or the GTX 1060. Guess I shall wait and see when actual benchmarks for the GTX 1060 come out and how much it will cost in comparison to the RX 480 4gb card and how much each differs in performance from each other.

Possibly waiting to see the measurements when power target is unlocked and/or OC, these tests only looked at it from a standard reference operation.
But that could be debated as being a different topic and context, along with custom AIBs that would more than likely be different to the reference in that regard as well.
